3. State Process ID Update
Problem:
Delay in getting a state ID for EI children NOT on Medicaid or losing Medicaid.
Solution (hopefully!):
Record the State Medical ID AND/OR SSN (for children with private insurance and no state medical ID) on the child’s demographic screen.

If you see an error message at the bottom of the screen:
1. Correct/delete error, manually click “Resubmit” to start the ID process.
2. Check the date, if the date is more than two (2) weeks from the entry date, contact State staff for assistance.

Tracking children beginning at 24 months through every stage of transition. Exception: Children who have discharged

8. Reports review: *New* KidsNet Consent Report
Kids Net Consent is important to assist with good care coordination among all programs Report should be pulled and verified on a monthly basis Working with DCYF to provide consent with the 175 referral

9. Reports review: New 45-day rule report
Can now select the reason for NOT meeting the 45 day rule to view the list separately Should be pulled and verified on a monthly basis If not updated, this skews our state data that we report to OSEP

Important for billing CMPI – for programs without Welligent Billing Module CMPS – for programs with Welligent Billing Module What are the issues?

Helpful to ensure all required data are entered into Welligent and are then reported to OSEP

13. Upcoming changes: Acknowledgment of referral letter
Acknowledgement of referral date must be entered on the referral screen
This will pre-populate when the letter is clicked for the Acknowledgement of Referral Letter
New field “Acknowledgement date” and letter button will appear below referral reason
* Note: When pediatrician is selected the system will asked how. This field is only used for the DOH hotline referral.

14. Upcoming changes: Response to referral letter
Response to Referral Letter will be pre-populated with data from Welligent Ensure all information is complete and updated before generating the letter
New letter button will appear after the response to referral date

15. Tips and reminders
For transfers/re-referrals: Dates should Not be before the new referral date
Confirm EI eligibility before entering ANY transition data
Must list at least one service and location on the IFSP for a child to be “enrolled”
If child had an IFSP and is no longer eligible, choose: “Completion of IFSP Outcomes prior to age 3 (No longer qualifies for EI),
Providers with billing system: Contact state when new insurance is added to your system
Use the report filter or keywords to search for a type of report
