Purpose: to strengthen believers experiencing persecution (1:9)

17. Why this matters: our response!
There is always HOPE
Patient endurance (1:9, 2 Cor 4:16-18)
We are careful how we live (2 Cor 5:9-10, 2 Peter 3:10-15)
We must be discerning about human powers (2 Peter 3:17-18)
Press in to God in prayer & worship
“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life… He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.” Rev 21:17, 20-21
