3. Who is BWJP?
The Battered Women’s Justice Project is a national non- profit technical assistance and training provider.
We develop and promote innovations in policy and practice that improve the response to intimate partner violence (IPV) by the civil, criminal, and military justice systems.

6. Military & Veterans Advocacy Program
Answers inquiries regarding military and veteran related IPV and sexual assault
Connects victims and survivors to available resources and assistance.
Enhances the capacity of civilian and military advocates to provide appropriate support, interventions, and advocacy to military-related victims of IPV and sexual assault.
Improves collaboration between military and civilian systems that respond to these crimes.

7. Military & Veterans Advocacy Program
Educates civilian and military systems about the intersection of combat-related conditions with IPV.
Fosters meaningful partnerships among government agencies and organizations that develop or administer public policy on issues that affect victims of military- related domestic and sexual violence.

8. eLearning Course Safety at Home
Self-paced course includes modules with mini-lectures, case studies, video clips, practice scenarios, and opportunities for self-assessment to test mastery of course content.

9. Model Doc for Screening, Assessment, & Intervention
Presents a model for understanding and responding to military and veteran-related IPV.
Examines IPV’s relationship to co-occurring conditions common among current and former servicemembers and recommends a community- wide approach to screening, assessment, and intervention.

10. Insights Video and Facilitator’s Guide
Designed for presentations and trainings on military and veteran-related IPV and intersection with co- occurring conditions.
Intended to further understanding especially among professionals who intervene with victims/survivors and IPV perpetrators. 

11. Representing Victims of Intimate Partner Violence Connected with the Military
Provides legal and military policy information needed by civil attorneys representing survivors and victims of intimate partner violence who are connected with the military. Topics include:
Protection orders
Service of process
Financial Support
Accountability
Advocacy

12. Military-Civilian CCR Demonstration Project Report
Guidelines for coordinating the response to IPV cases involving military personnel among military commands, civilian agencies, and courts.
Sites were Ft. Campbell, Kentucky (National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence lead) and Jacksonville, Florida (Battered Women’s Justice Project lead)
