4 Game Mediums Continued
Open up your textbooks, and let’s turn p 17 Mediums we’ve discussed thus far: Physical Games / Sports Board Games What’s next?

5 Tile Games Tile Games are played with a limited number of tiles (often rectangular) that have dots, letters, special symbols, etc. Play usually involves placing new tiles from your hand and connecting them to those already in play (and replenishing with new tiles if available). Scoring usually occurs as tiles are placed. Dominoes, Scrabble, Carcassonne, etc. are examples.

6 Dice Games Dice are used to invite chance into a game, and can also be the primary focus. Some games, such as Yahtzee and Bunco®, use standard six-sided dice (abbreviated d6). Others replace the dots with letters or special symbols. They usually involve any number of players. Popular examples include Farkle, Yahtzee, Boggle, etc.

7 Try one! Ok, so let’s try one: Farkle; We’ve also got Scrabble
Here’s an older one: Dominoes And here’s one more: Carcassonne So go ahead and pick one, and have fun! Make sure to fill out a Game Analysis Paper, so that we can talk about it afterward 

8 Afterwards Alright, let’s chat about these games!
What did you like about the game? What did you dislike? If you could change or add a rule, what would it be? Explain why: HW: Try and play some board, card or party games this weekend, and have fun! P.S. If you haven’t finished your first Game Analysis Worksheet, do it (it’s LATE now)
