We’ll be creating our Works Cited pages for the critique essay together in class using a handout which has all necessary information and some templates. Take our in-class, hand-written creations home and type them up to staple to the back of your finished essays.

3 Anthology You’ll need an entry for the anthology these articles were taken from. It should follow this formula: Editor’s last name, first name and editor’s first and last name, eds. Title of the book (edition number. City of Publication: Publisher, Year. Print. Behrens, Laurence M. and Leonard J. Rosen, eds. Writing and Reading Across the Curriculum (12th ed). London: Longman, Print.

4 Articles You’ll also need an entry for each article we reference in the essay. They should follow this format: Last name, first name. “Title of Article” Editors’ last names. Baumrind, Diana. “Review of Stanley Milgram’s Experiments on Obedience.” Behrens and Rosen. Milgram, Stanley. “The Perils of Obedience.” Behrens and Rosen. Burger, Jerry. “Replicating Milgram.” Behrens and Rosen.

5 The Works Cited Page Now put all of your entries in alphabetical order. This is how they will appear on your works cited page in your essay. Make sure you follow other MLA guidelines regarding margins, indenting, title, and page heading.
