3. 2019 State Raffle Prizes FIRST PLACE -- $5,000 CASH
SECOND PLACE -- $4,000 CASH
THIRD & FOURTH PLACE -- $500 CASH EACH
FITH AND SIXTH PLACE -- $400 CASH EACH
SEVENTH PLACE -- $200 CASH
Winners Are Responsible For All Taxes
Councils must turn in their sold tickets, money, the GREEN Council Returns Sheet and Council Resolution Sheets to the DD or RMPC (in the absence of a DD) by March 31, 2019.
Do not include unsold tickets. The Council must either burn or shred all unsold tickets.
Late submission of tickets will not be accepted after April 20th and definitely not at the Convention. HOWEVER – a Council check for $5.00 per ticket must be submitted with all late tickets along with all required documents.
Winning tickets will be drawn on April 27, 2019 at the Convention banquet.
 Ticket holders need not be present to win. WINNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TAXES.

Distribution Dates:
Ticket packets will be distributed to RMPCs/DDs by October 2018
Actually, was completed by end of August 2018
RMPCs/DDs need to distribute to Councils & complete training by November 2018
Distribution -- With 2 exceptions, completed by end of September 2018
Council Training – We don’t know for sure, but we feel many were not.
Council Selling Dates:
Begin sales in December (or sooner) 2018
Many Councils began in October & November 2018
Unfortunately, some Councils did not start until after the first of 2019, or have not started yet!

5. STATE RAFFLE KEY DATES FOR 2019
Council Final Wrap Up completed by their March 2019 Meeting. If your meeting is late in the month, then end it at your February Meeting.
Council Submission to DD or RMPC (in the absence of a DD) no later than March 31, 2019
Submission to include the following:
Green Council Returns sheet – completely filled out, signed out by Grand Knight and initialed by DD or RMPC affirming the package is complete and accurate.
White Council Resolution sheets – completely filled out.
All sold ticket stubs in packets of 50 (BUT DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN NUMBERICAL ORDER). Filled out completely and legible.
Council check for the total amount ($2.50 per ticket stub). Check to be made out to “Knights of Columbus NC State Council”. No personal checks or cash!!!
Submission NOT TO INCLUDE “Unsold Tickets”

1. We have found that we can start the raffle earlier than we ever have. I will issue the ticket packets as early as I can in October. The Councils must receive their packets immediately following but no later than the end of November.
2. Councils should start their ticket sales as soon as they receive their packets but not without the proper training. If Councils stick with this schedule, they will have between 3 and 4 months to sell the tickets. More than this and everyone will loose interest. Since most councils end their sales at one of their meetings, there is no reason all tickets, money and forms can’t be turned in to the RMPC / DD by March 31, 2019.
That means before you initial the Green Council Returns sheet, you review everything and ensure they have completed all the necessary forms, and turned in the correct amount. If you stay on top of the councils and ensure they are using the White Council Resolution sheets, they won’t be any problems. This is not a “DROP AND RUN” on the Council’s or your part.
RMPCs/DDs have to have all their Council submissions to me no later than April 20, There will be no exceptions since everyone will be given more time than in the past.

DDs:
Council complete package must be in the hands of the RMPC no later than April 6, It is YOUR responsibility to ensure the packages are complete from the Councils before you accept them.
RMPCs:
State Fund Raiser Chairman will make arrangements to pick up all your packages on the weekend of April 13, It is YOUR responsibility to ensure the packages are complete from the DDs and that you will be around that weekend so they can be picked up by the State Chairman. It will be up to you to establish a meeting place adequate for the review and transfer of the documentation, tickets and money.
Drawing will be at the Convention Banquet on April 27, 2019

7. STATE RAFFLE KEY DATES FOR 2019 continued
Council Late Returns:
Since the 2019 raffle distribution began in 2018 and if Councils properly set things up early enough, there should be no reason we have late returns.
However if there are some, they are To be submitted to DD or RMPC ( in absence of a DD) ( no later than April 13, No late submission will be accepted after April 13, 2019 or at the Convention.
Councils must use the Pink “Late Council Returns” sheet – signed by the Grand Knight , White Council Resolution sheets – completely filled out , completed ticket stubs, and a Council check in the amount of $5.00 per ticket stub (100% of the cost per ticket).
