2 How to Avoid Plagiarism
The internet if full of helpful resources. It is a great place to go when you are doing a research report. However, if you copy someone's words, it is considered stealing. Stealing someone's words is called: Plagiarism. The definition of Plagiarism : when you use someone else's words or ideas and pass them off as your own. There are several ways you can use helpful information from the web and still avoid plagiarism.

3 How to Avoid Plagiarizing or Copying Other’s Work:
1. “Use Quotation Marks” 2. Paraphrase or Summarize 3. Use your own thoughts or experiences 4. Cite Sources in Bibliography When we research we gather information and ideas from websites, articles, books, etc. but make sure you always give these sources credit by sharing where you got your information. Citing sources is like saying “thank you” for helping you learn something new.

4 Examples of what your citations might look like!
Bibliography Let’s break it down: Website Title. Year article was published. Web. Month, Year the website was used to gather your research. Examples of what your citations might look like! Weather Wiz for Kids.  Web. October, 2016. Defenders of Wildlife Web. October, 2016.
