2. They were a bunch of enthusiastic IIT students. They wanted to go beyond the boundaries of classrooms and change the world for the deprived Indian child.

3. With the help of CRY they formed a collective of students, formed an understanding of the child rights issues in their district and developed an action plan.

4. A Fact Finding mission to neighborhood villages and the launch of a photo contest within colleges were all it took to rekindle their passion for child rights.

5. A govt primary school – Adivasi Primary school in the Mirpur Village did not have facilities of drinking water, mid day meal was non functional and had lack of adequate number of teachers.

6. The students along with the principal wrote letters to the BDO and knocked at the doors of authorities.

7. Untiring advocacy resulted in : - Activation of mid day meal scheme - Reinstallation of hand pumps - Appointment of 2 teachers.

8. And the Journey continues as they monitor more Government schools …..
