2. The setting of the story is Nates city : Valley, Massachusetts. Valley is where Nates problems are found. Massachusetts is where the New England Patriots play also. If the setting was different, most likely Nate wouldnt have been drawn for the Million- Dollar Throw contest. Also Nate mightve not met Abby which is his best friend. Valley is also where he has to face the problem of his parents losing their house.
