Like all primary artifacts, maps have clues about the time period in which they were made.
We will use an Observe-Reflect-Question Chart to analyze a primary artifact.

5. Activity Each person will receive a different piece of an artifact.
Using your magnifying glass and your O-R-Q chart, write down your findings.
When I tell you, start to put together the pieces of the artifact at your table.
Revise your findings based on these new pieces.
