3 Flag Lithuania’s flag consists of 3 different colours, yellow, green and red! This is the meaning of Lithuania’s flag: Yellow is the symbolic of the wheat fields: Green is the symbolic of their forests and Red is the symbolic of their patriotism (the meaning of patriotism the quality of being patriotic; devotion to and vigorous support for one's country. Is what Google says!

4 Map This is where Lithuania is on the map.
The countries bordering it are Latvia, Belarus, Russia and Poland.

5 Size and Population The area of Lithuania is 65,300 km²
The population of Lithuania is  2.848 million (2017) at the moment. The population of the capital city is 544,386 (2016). Lithuania’s landscape is mostly flat, made up of fertile lowlands which are good for agriculture.

6 Capital City The capital city of Lithuania is Vilnius.
The city was founded in 1323. Many of the streets are narrow and winding, particularly in the older parts of the city Over the centuries Vilnius has been devastated by fire, plague and war. It fell under Russian rule in 1795 and grew to be an important centre of Jewish learning in the nineteenth century.

7 Language The language in Lithuania is Lithuanian but they do speak some English as well as many other languages following. 8 National Day In Lithuania their national day is on 16th of February on 2019 and 2020, is when they celebrate their independence day as they came independent in 1918

9 Currency In Lithuania they have the currency euro.
They adopted the euro on the 1st January 2015. Before that their currency was, litas. If you were going to buy a pint of beer it would be £1.26 or in euro €1.49. But if you really want a cheap pint go to Ukraine it is only €0.58 or £0.49.

10 European Union Lithuania joined the EU on the 1st of May 2004.
Over 90% of Lithuania voted to join. They voted on the 10th May to 11th May 2003 to decide whether Lithuania should join the European Union. 

11 Famous People Here are a few famous Lithuanian people,
1 – Pink is a tiny bit Lithuanian! 2 – Jason Sudeikis is a ¼ Lithuanian! 3 – Frank Lubin is Lithuanian-American basketball player! 4 – Vita Opolskytė is a Lithuanian painter. 5 – Beatrich is a famous singer. 6 – Džordana Butkutė is another Lithuanian singer!

12 History Lithuania was a part of the soviet union.
Later on they became independent on the 6th September 1991. The Soviet Union had seized the Baltic state of Lithuania in  Lithuanians complained long and loud about this absorption into the Soviet empire, but to no avail.

13 Time differences Lithuania is exactly one hour a head of our own time!

14 Geography Vilnius is their capital and there are also some nice place you can visit!

15 Food Here are some delicious foods that you can try in Lithuania.

16 Climate Lithuania has a humid climate at roughly 16°C in July .
At an average of -2.5°C at the coast in January. Winter extremes at -34°C at the coast and -43°C in the east of Lithuania.

17 Education The first documented school in Lithuania was established in 1387 at Vilnius Cathedral. Education is free of charge and compulsory from the age of 6 or 7 to 16 years(covering "primary" and "basic" education), as stated in the national Law on Education. The Republic of Lithuania has shown commitment to gender equality, enacting laws protecting women’s rights in the labour market, education and society. 

18 Animals The white stork (gandras) was declared the national bird of Lithuania in Lithuanians believe that storks bring harmony to the families on whose property they nest; they have also kept up the tradition of telling their children that storks bring babies.
