2. Context
EC JRC and ICES will support the MSFD COM DEC 2010/477/EU review process by providing an analysis of the current situation for each Descriptor in collaboration with expert networks.
Detailed individual roadmaps are being prepared for all descriptors.
The work for review is planned to be continuous, with collaboration with experts managed mostly though + final workshops.

4. Coordination JRC/ICES
Consist of two representatives from each of the two parties (JRC and ICES)
The group will mainly operate via web communication
The main tasks are:
Agree the time lines and approaches for the work.
Oversee the overall coordination of work and ensure coherence
Solve possible problems and discrepancies
Monitor progress towards the delivery of the completed review templates
 Harmonization of approaches for the review is based on the common template
