2 We are proposing the 1 st Annual Six Flags Sun & Fun Music Festival which is an all day festival with music and festivities throughout the park. This event will take place at Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, New Jersey on July 5, 2013. The Six Flags Sun & Fun Music Festival will serve to increase park attendance over the Fourth of July weekend and help support music programs in public schools throughout New Jersey. 3 Presently, there are no music festivals available that are affiliated with helping to save music programs in public schools throughout the entire state of New Jersey! Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, New Jersey can be a trend setter and provide the first location for a music festival, to be held on sight at the park! 4 The event will capitalize on a target market that Six Flags already naturally appeals to (8-28 year old individuals). The Six Flags brand will become more associated with supporting education and giving back to the community by donating 10% of the days proceeds to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. The foundation will distribute proceeds to THE TOP 5 School Districts whose have received the greatest number of votes and whose music programs have been eliminated or are about to be eliminated due to budgetary restraints. This will keep music alive and help ensure a better future for our children. The event will pave the way for similar events to be held at all Six Flags Great Adventure locations throughout the nation, becoming an excellent long-term investment for both high attendance and corporate social responsibility.
