2 Fig 1 (A) An intraoperative photo shows fixation technique. (B) Scheme of right middle lobe (RML) fixation technique to right lower lobe (RLL) after upper lobectomy. First, the absorptive sheet soaked in fibrinogen was trimmed into a rectangular shape and placed over the contiguous lobes in a bridging manner with an intraoperative inflated respiratory condition after pulmonary resection. Next, liquid thrombin was placed drop-wise onto the sheet, followed by fibrinogen and thrombin, which were sprayed together to adhere to each other more tightly. This fixation was performed in three locations for a few minutes. The Annals of Thoracic Surgery  , DOI: ( /j.athoracsur ) Copyright © 2010 The Society of Thoracic Surgeons Terms and Conditions
