2. The night before the test…
Go to bed EARLY and get PLENTY of REST.

3. The day of the test, make sure you:
Eat a nutritious breakfast.
Come to school!
Arrive on time.

4. The day of the test remember to:
Relax.
Have a positive attitude.

5. During the test remember to:
Take your TIME!
Look at each answer CAREFULLY. Remember, there may be some TRICKY questions!
Read all the answer choices to avoid being fooled by the test tricksters!
Mark out the answers you know are definitely not correct.
Narrow down your choices and choose the best answer.

6. During the math section…
Use your separate sheet of paper to work out the math problems.
Remember to draw pictures, make tally marks, or use whatever strategies that work best for you.

7. ALWAYS double check YOUR answers!

8. If you are stuck on a question remember:
DO NOT panic!
Take a deep breath. Read it again.
