When you came up out of the watery grave of baptism, were you confident of your salvation?
WHY?
Confidence in God’s promise
Gospel came from God – Galatians 1:11

9. How Can I Truly Be Confident?
God said baptism washes away sins – Acts 22:16
Baptism is the answer of a good conscience towards God – 1 Peter 3:21
We become new – Romans 6:4
Newness created by God – Ephesians 4:17-24

10. Can a Man Earn Salvation?
Not At All
It is a display of love for God who has saved us – John 14:15
1 John 5:1-3
We have confidence God saves those who keep His commandments- 1 John 2:3-6

11. How Do We Know We Are Saved?
God Promised to Save those who obey Him – Titus 1:1,2; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1
Know what to obey because it is written in the Bible – 1 John 2:24,25
All it requires is staying in the bounds of God’s instructions

12. People Have Lost Their Confidence Because:
They have stopped trusting God
They have convinced themselves that truth is hard or impossible to discern
