3. Pool project – directions
Your parents know you are in Geometry this year and they have asked you to help them design a pool for your backyard.
You will be using your knowledge of circles, rectangles, etc. (other shapes) to help you design your pool.

4. Pool project – directions
You will need to complete the following (in FEET):
A drawing/blueprint of your pool
Complete with measurements of the pool.
Include the dimensions of your backyard (assume it is a rectangle).
Calculate the Perimeter/Arc Length and Area/Area of a sector of your pool.
Be as creative as possible!

5. Pool project This will be PART 1 of a MAJOR grade this quarter.
It is 50% of the major grade.
PART 2 will come during Chapter 12.
