1 Solute Morphology and Transport in Fuel Cell Polymers
B Polysulfone block copolymers form nanophase-separated morphologies. 10k:10k MW blocks (A:B) 15k:15k MW blocks (A:B) Multi-axis NMR diffusion measurements  anisotropic transport in nanophase-separated membranes. Ionic polymer membranes form the basis of cutting edge fuel cells and artificial muscles. Diffusion anisotropy and 2H NMR reveal alignment modes vs. block mass in hydrophilic-hydrophobic block copolymer membranes. We are probing relations between molecular transport and anisotropy.
