1 EMA/Cadence Presentation for Moog Library Data Management
Intro….. Before Webinar Starts Poll Q1: Do you currently use / access a PLM system as part of your engineering responsibilities? Yes, manually connect to PLM as needed Yes, integrated into my PCB design environment No, But we should No, The farther I am from PLM the better! (Talking points)

2 Agenda for Today – Library Data Management
New Part Request and release Obsolescence management Equivalence/off the shelf part management Stock locations PSpice (and other) simulation models 3D model assignment Parametric data integration with Teamcenter 2/26/2019

3 Integrated ECAD Environment RELEASE TO MANUFACTURING
WORK IN PROGRESS RELEASE TO MANUFACTURING CONTENT SOURCES Ultra Librarian for OrCAD 14M+ Parts Library OrCAD CIP Component Distributors Compliance Module* Powered By OLB CIP – Component Information Portal OLB – OrCAD Library Builder Centralized Local Library EMA Enterprise Integrate PCB Editor Constraint Manager for OrCAD PSPICE OrCAD Users (Talking points) Let’s examine how a user will work within an integrated ECAD Environment. (CLICK 1) The OrCAD User will access a centralized OrCAD library database to do day to day placement of controlled parts onto there schematic designs. (CLICK 2) The OrCAD part data can be effectively managed from a variety of content sources like Ultra Librarian with over 12 million parts, Distributor and even robust compliance data provided by SiliconExpert. This all is tightly integrated in the OrCAD desktop environment. (CLICK 3) As the design progresses, OrCAD users have the ability to Checkin and Checkout their OrCAD design directly in a vault allowing more capabilities even team based collaborative design all within the OrCAD Desktop environment. (CLICK 4) Now that we have a complete solution around our day to day work in progress, we can now utilize the OrCAD to PLM integration to promote our engineering data to the corporate PLM system directly from the OrCAD Desktop and synchronize our corporate part information with the OrCAD environment. The part data can come from your PLM ‘internal supply chain’ as well as through CIP’s Distributor and SiliconExpert integrations like… internal stock, corporate approved parts, compliance and other information. Multiple levels of integration available. Bidirectional component synchronization Bidirectional check-in/out from the OrCAD Capture schematic Bidirectional check-in/out from the OrCAD / Allegro PCB OrCAD EDM Work-in-process Library and Data Mgmt.
