PowerPoint does not allow you to save a document with artwork extending off the page (Bleed). Bleed is essential to enable artwork at the edges of the page to be trimmed off neatly in production. 3mm has been added to the A4 size (21cm x 29.7cm) to provide a slide size of 21.6cm x 30.3cm (To change the orientation of the document select Design: Slide Size: Page setup) Ensure that you can see the guides (View: Guides) The area inside the guides is the size of the final page, it is good practice where design allows to keep text and important parts of images 3-5mm in from the outside edges of the page (This quiet area reduces important text and images from being obscured by bindings etc.) To begin delete all of these instructions and background graph (Click on any object on the slide and press delete) Add your artwork Save your artwork Save your artwork as a PDF (Select File: Save As PDF) Select a location to save the PDF to
