Introduction:
Volvo was founded in Its headquarters are located in Gothenburg, Sweden. From the very start, its core business centred on motor vehicle manufacturing.
Exports became a major aspect of the operation from early in the company’s history, with rapid expansion beyond the home market.

All of its business areas are numbered amongst the world’s largest in their particular fields. Over 90 per cent of the Group’s production is sold in markets beyond Sweden.
Volvo Construction Equipment is one of the leading companies in the construction equipment industry. It has been associated with the Volvo Group since 1985.
