2. Required Supplies for ELA
Composition Notebook – this is your writer’s notebook that will include ALL work for this class
Grading/Editing Pen – a color other than blue/black
Highlighters – for editing and writing activities (specifically: yellow, green, blue, pink)
Folder – for handouts including daily review
Scissors – to cut pages for your writer’s notebook and use for identity narratives (I will explain them later )
Writing Utensils – whatever you prefer (pen or pencil) but you must write legibly 
To leave in classroom:
Glue Stick – (4) you will be pasting pages into your writer’s notebook on a consistent basis
Package of cardstock paper
Pack of markers
We will be starting in your writer’s notebook on Wednesday – be prepared!
