2. What is Passive Voice ?
A passive is construction occurs when we make the object of an action into the subject of a sentence.

3. The Pattern and Example of Passive Voice
Auxilary verb + simple V3 ( Past Participle) / + by + agent
Present Simple Example : Fitri helped by Rita.
Present Progressive Example : Nita is being helped by Dessy
Aux verb ( am, is, are ) + V3 Past Participle + by + agent
Aux verb ( am, is, are ) + being + V3 Past Participle + by + agent

3. We think the agent is not important or interesting
Ex : Our house is being painted
4. The agent is obvious
Ex : I am paid weekly
5. We are making general statements or announcements
Ex : Passagers are reminded to fasten their seatbelts
