Lesson 17 – Phil 3:1 – 4:1 Warnings Re: Judaizing Teachers & Their Error Contrasting The Two Approaches 3:17 – 4:1 While these “enemies” think earthly, saints realize their citizenship is in heaven 3:20a (commonwealth; a “colony”) Saints look to heaven for Christ’s return 3:20b Upon His return, Christ will use His power to transform us from our humble state into glory 3: Cor 15: Jn 3:1-2 Therefore, saints are to use this hope to “stand firm in the Lord” 4:1
