Organic compounds can be found in both living (glucose) and nonliving (carbon dioxide) parts of an ecosystem.

4. Inorganic Compounds Compounds that do NOT contain the element carbon.
Examples:
Water (H2O)
Table Salt (NaCl)
Oxygen (O2)
Commonly found in both living (salt) and nonliving (water) parts of an ecosystem.
