Backwards Compatibility Added more details for the scenario where an “incompatible” downstream node responds with the “all-ones” label pattern in the LABEL object of the RESV message. IANA Considerations Added an IANA request to include a new subregistry for “Special Purpose Generalized Label Values”. Other Changes Added a figure showing the “all ones” pattern. Added text to say that the scope of the procedures is limited to the exchange and processing of messages between an upstream node and its immediate downstream node. Added more details to the “error processing” procedures.
