2 Figure 1 The change in urea distribution volume over a median of five observations in 12 dialysis patients (data from Basile's letter) was a linear inverse function of the urea distribution volume measured at baseline. The coefficient of determination was (P-value 0.016): that is, 40.3% of the change in urea distribution volume over time can be explained by the value measured at baseline.
