Purpose: Create test stand for measuring physical properties (stress/strain) of artificial materials
Reason: Stress/strain data from current uniaxial test stand does not have known relationship
Summer Research shows that correlation attempts with membrane indenter are futile

Keep the design simple, yet advanced enough to maintain accuracy

Future senior design groups can build upon the loading system and increase machine efficiency and ability
Allow for future courses in the bioengineering program or mechanics labs to use a different type of loading machine to depict a stress/strain relation
