Effect of treatment with bronchial thermoplasty at different temperature on airway responsiveness to methacholine (MCh) and airway pathology in dogs. a) Airway responsiveness (percentage change in diameter after local MCh challenge) in dogs treated with bronchial thermoplasty at 55°C, 65°C and 75°C. b) Histological changes in untreated control airway and an airway treated with radiofrequency energy at 65°C, 12 weeks post-treatment (trichrome stain, original magnification x100).
