1 Angel Tree Giving a hand to our Jay M. Robinson High School students and families in need during the Holidays. Our 10th Annual Angel Tree Project is in full swing. The Angel tree is in front of the auditorium with the items that you can buy for our students in need and their families.

2 Athletic Boosters Athletic Boosters are sponsoring many more dining out fundraisers this semester.  December 5th Shane's Ribshack in Afton Village.  December 11th Texas Roadhouse. Tell your server you are there for Robinson

3 Attention Seniors Many of you have not placed your cap and gown orders.  You must order these items, as soon as possible.  You can reach them at or

4 Band Poinsettia Sales The Robinson Bands are conducting their annual Poinsettia Sale. Consider supporting us by buying these flowers for the holiday season. Contact Mr. Carter for more information.

5 The Blood Drive is scheduled for December 2nd.
Anyone who is planning to give blood needs to eat healthy leading up the to the drive. Drink lots of water! If you are giving blood and you are 16, make sure you bring your parent permission packet with you or you will not be able to give blood!

6 Chimney Rock Donation Drive
We are hosting a donation collection of money or items to be sent to Chimney Rock to help those in need devastated by forest fires. Bring items to the Main office.

7 Our FACULTY JMR vs. COX MILL BASKETBALL
Faculty Basketball Our FACULTY JMR vs. COX MILL BASKETBALL  GAME is Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30. We will be playing at home. 

8 FCA/YCI FCA/YCI will be having its first annual Christmas party after school on December 14th. There will not be a meeting that morning, sleep in and join us in Trailer 6 for food and fun starting at 2:45pm. The theme will be wearing your favorite ugly Christmas sweater.

9 French Club French Club will have the December Christmas meeting on Monday, December 5th. Come and experience how the French celebrate Christmas!

10 Conference T-Shirts Football Conference t-Shirts are on sale now through December 2nd through Coach Glass and Harrington for 12 Dollars!

11 Holiday Around the World
The Multicultural Club and National Spanish Honors Society invites you to Holidays Around the world fiesta on December 20th from 3-5 in our school cafeteria. Bring an item to share with the group.

12 Indoor Track If anyone is interested in indoor track, there is a sheet in the front office to sign up. We will begin practices soon. Please stop by the front office by Friday if you are interested in running See Coach Hedden or Mrs. Cundiff with questions.

13 International Game Hour
Multicultural Club & Spanish National Honors Society is hosting International Game Hour in the cafeteria on Tuesday, November 29th 3-5pm. The cost is 3 dollars at the door.

14 Sign up in JROTC by Wednesday.
JROTC Winter Dining Out is Saturday, December 3rd at Broadus Baptist Church. Cost is $12.00 All cadets are invited. Sign up in JROTC by Wednesday.

Lunch Menu Beef and Broccoli Bowl Corn Dog Steamed Corn Fresh Veggies with Dip Strawberries and Cream Banana

16 They need basic toiletry items.
MAC House Donation Box FCA/YCI is sponsoring a donation box for the MAC House (Mother’s and Children’s Ministry). They need basic toiletry items. They can be dropped off in the main office by December 21st.

17 Media Center There are classes scheduled for research during lunch this week so the Media Center will only be open for students needing to read, study or complete work. Also, from this day forward please keep food in the cafeteria. Mrs. Crowell and Mrs. Cook have picked up their last french fry.

18 Mr. JMR is Friday, December 16th at 6pm. Jr and Sr Boys Only

19 The Powder Puff game is December 5th at 6 PM.

20 PSA Competition Introduction to Broadcasting has just completed their Social Media PSAs. You can vote for the most effective PSA on the school’s main page. Vote today!

Theatre Presents Temporary Heroes In the auditorium December 1st-3rd at 7pm. Tickets are 7 dollars.

Throwback Thursday Submit your throwback pictures to or bring them to room 912. Be sure your name is on your pictures.

23 Toys for Tots The annual Toys for Tots drive has started at Robinson. Tri-M Music Honor Society members are collecting new toys to help those in our community who are less fortunate to be able to have a merry Christmas. Please bring unwrapped toys to the Chorus Room by Dec. 14th to help us make Christmas brighter for many young children.

24 Yoga Club will have a meeting in the Media Center today.

26 Basketball plays at Central Cabarrus on Tuesday.
They play at Hunter Huss on Wednesday. The first conference home game is Friday against Carson.

27 Wrestling Wrestling competes in Cuthbertson Invitational on Saturday, December 3rd.

28 Basketball Men's basketball had a big win over central Cabarrus last night Vichon means with 15 points A.J. Gallager with 8 points Jamari Roberts with 14 points and Lavar Batts Jr with 18 points. Basketball travels to hunter Huss tonight. GO DOGS!!!!!
