2019 EAGLE BATTALION ARMY JROTC ‘MILITARY’ BALL MARCH 15TH, 6:00 pm, NC STATE UNIVERSITY CLUB

3 JROTC BALL Celebrating the 9TH ANNUAL JROTC BALL Formal, elegant ball including: Social Hour Dinner Award and Recognitions Future Commanders Ceremony Dancing

4 REMEMBER!!! THIS IS NOT PROM, rules and regulations are set and you as a cadet or guest WILL follow all rules This is a formal MILITARY BALL, not your regular school dance

5 Can wear uniform or approved suit
Must have a proper haircut and be clean shaven No piercings Attire must be neat and pressed Dress shoes only Must apply to the army regulation

7 No braids No piercing Haircut No boots

8 Dress must be at or below knee length
Slits up to knee allowed Back of dress must be above the small of the back No cleavage (showing) NO STRAPLESS DRESSES!!!! One strap dresses are O.K. but must stay up! A shawl or sweater must be worn with one strap or spaghetti strap dresses If worn then it must be worn the ENTIRE time No sheer (see-through) parts or sections of dress that reveal inappropriate areas (i.e. cleavage, midriff, thighs)‏ DO NOT take off footwear (females may once dancing begins) Recommendation: bring flats for dancing Dress approval is required,

Wear something that you will be comfortable in during all portions of the evening’s events Awards ceremony Pictures Dinner Dancing If it looks like lingerie, you are going home!

14 Bringing a Guest You are responsible for your guest’s conduct and proper attire Must have approval from Major Robertson Non-family guest must be a high school student No JROTC dropouts Must be a person attending EHS, unless proper Wake County approval is obtained Guest/parent consent forms required Seniors, this is your last Eagle Battalion Ball ☹

15 Must wear a tie or bowtie with a plain color or matching suit
Must wear dress shoes NO baggy/sagging clothing Jacket worn during formal portion (may remove for dance) Clean shaven or properly trimmed beard and haircut (beard for adults only)

20 No Public Displays of Affection (i.e. kissing or sitting on laps)‏
The food is a buffet One plate at a time Use silverware, not hands No Public Displays of Affection (i.e. kissing or sitting on laps)‏ No chewing gum at any time NO DRAMA! Leave it at the door NO foul language Do not sit on tables or window ledges. Find a chair! No phone usage during the entire ball

21 Gentlemen will open doors for ladies
Gentlemen will help the ladies with their seats Wait until the entire table has returned from the buffet before you start eating Use proper manners When a lady leaves the table, the gentleman with her at the table should stand and pull out her chair When a lady returns to the table, the gentleman with her should stand and push in her chair

22 NO DIRTY DANCING (i.e. grinding, twerking, anything where female are kicking up legs in dresses)‏
Keep your feet on the floor NO moshing (pushing & shoving)‏ Be respectful to any and all instructors, chaperones, and fellow dancers
