Presentation on theme: "Relationship between Heat Energy, Temperature, and Particle Movement"— Presentation transcript:

1 Relationship between Heat Energy, Temperature, and Particle Movement
When most substances lose or gain heat energy, one of two things happen to the substance: its temperature changes or its state (phase) changes. The temperature of a substance is related to the speed (KE) of the substance’s particles. So, when the temperature of a substance changes, the speed (KE) of the particles also changes. Instructional Approach(s): The teacher should preset the information on the slide to reinforce the relationship between energy, temperature, and particle movement

2 Relationship between Energy, Temperature, and Particle Movement
Example Labelling Graphs Instructional Approach(s): The teacher should preset the information on the slide to reinforce the relationship between energy, temperature, and particle movement

3 Phase Change Activity

4 Summarizer Answer in composition book
