Graphs show the OR (solid lines; 95% CI [dotted lines]) of association of Ln-vanadium concentrations (corrected for creatinine concentration) with the risk of preterm delivery (A); early-term delivery (B); low birthweight (C); term, low birthweight (D); preterm, low birthweight (E); small for gestational age (<10%; F); light-small for gestational age (5–9%; G); and severe-small for gestational age (<5%; H). ORs from final models were adjusted for maternal age at delivery, parity, pre-pregnancy body-mass index, active smoking, passive smoking, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, gestational diabetes, education, and infant sex. Bars show the distribution of Ln-vanadium concentrations. Ln-vanadium=natural logarithm transformed urinary concentrations of vanadium, corrected for creatinine concentration. OR=odds ratio.
