3 What do we want to TG4g-SUN ?
Simple & compatible with IEEE Minimal modification coexistence with IEEE based networks Two rate options Basic Rate (below 250 Kbps) IEEE compatible (Below 127 Bytes long) DSSS PHY O-QPSK Extended Rate (over 250 Kbps and below 750Kbps) Minimize a change Reducing the spreading gain

4 1. Basic Rate Below 250 Kbps For the case of 127 Bytes long or under, it can support backward compatibility on the condition that; Normally CRC-16, Optionally CRC-32 Symbol-to-chip mapping table is the same as that of IEEE MHz O-QPSK PHY Specification provides The commercial deployment has been delayed since the technology for this application has not yet been decided upon.

5 2. Extended Rate Over 250 Kbps and below 750Kbps
Minimizing the modification to the IEEE Reducing the spreading gain Data symbol (Binary) b0 b1 b2 p Chip Values c0 c1 c2 c3 -1 +1

6 What we want to TG4g-SUN is…
IEEE is already verified in the market. But it has some limitations to use in various applications. TG4g-SUN may make up for the weak points of it. We tried to think the matter over carefully, and made a proposal with simple and minimal modification
