4 The Purpose of Cheerleading……
is to create, promote and uphold school spirit and a positive school environment by participating at athletic events and extracurricular activities as deemed appropriate by the campus administrator and coach. Participation in the regular curriculum is a right afforded to each student, while participation in the extracurricular program is a PRIVILEGE that carries additional expectations for acceptable conduct. It is important for all of our participants to understand the code and conform to the rules therein, and that the cheer coach or administration may have the right to remove these privileges.

5 Methods of Communication:
GroupMe: We use “GroupMe” with our student-athletes and it is MANDATORY that all student-athletes sign up! This allows the head coach to send out mass texts. The coach will use this to send out reminders & notifications pertaining to the entire cheer line. SHS Cheer Website: All handouts, calendars, etc. will be available on the SHS Cheer Website. Calendar: Each cheerleader will receive a hard copy of the SHS Cheer Calendar for the semester and will be available on the SHS Cheer Website. Social Media: SHS Cheer has two social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram; videos, shout outs, motivational quotes, etc. are frequently posted about the cheer program and its athletes.   Methods of Communication:
