This powerpoint can be used to support the teaching of ‘Shape, space and measure’ targeted towards the month age band.

2. Teaching tip:
Once the children are becoming more familiar with basic time, see if they can choose the correct time to correspond with the clock. Can they explain their answer e.g. the hour hand is pointing at number 4 and the minute hand is pointing down, it must be half past 4.
Ext: see if they can make different o’clock and half past times on individual clocks.
