HAPPY SABBATH

CONFLICT- How to Handle it

Rom. 12:18 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone

How, then, can we fulfill Romans 12:18?

Let's examine 5 important keys to conflict resolution.
Strive for a balanced, realistic approach to life Accept your responsibility Don't be oversensitive See the other person's point of view Don't waste time on revenge

#1-Strive For A Balanced, Realistic Approach To Life

1 Cor. 13:11 "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."

Heb. 3:13  But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Eccl. 8:14  There is a vanity which occurs on earth, that there are just men to whom it happens according to the work of the wicked; again, there are wicked men to whom it happens according to the work of the righteous. I said that this also is vanity."

Eccl. 8:12   "Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God."

Prov. 23:18  For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off."

#2-Accept Your Responsibility

Isa. 57:20-21  But the wicked are like the troubled sea, When it cannot rest, Whose waters cast up mire and dirt. 21 “There is no peace, ”Says my God, “for the wicked.

1 Kings 8:46  When they sin against You (for there is no one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near;.

Prov. 14:16  16 The wise fear the Lord and shun evil, but a fool is hotheaded and yet feels secure."

Matt. 7:5   Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

#3- Don’t Be Oversensative

Eccl. 7:21-22   21 Also do not take to heart everything people say, Lest you hear your servant cursing you. 22 For many times, also, your own heart has known That even you have cursed others."

Psalms 37:7-8   7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.

Prov. 25:28   He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls

#4- See The Other Persons Point Of View

Judges 8:1   8 Now the Ephraimites asked Gideon, “Why have you treated us like this? Why didn’t you call us when you went to fight Midian?” And they challenged him vigorously.

James 3:14-18   "But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work."

James 3:14-18   "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace"

Rom. 12:18 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone
