2. Description of The CMS
A mouse trap is tied to a lever which knocks down a weight and when set off sets a ball into motion.
Ball falls down a series of platforms and at the bottom hits dominos that set off another mouse trap.
The series of events is then repeated on the other side

3. Energy Conversions Force of the spring in both mouse traps
Gravitational potential energy of both the weights
Gravitational potential energy of the marble rolling down the ramps
Conservation of momentum of the dominos at the bottom of the ramp

4. Design Issues Overall cost was about $20
The Time limit of 10 seconds gave us a bunch of problems
Bag of weights were very hard to balance on levers
Ball didn’t hit the dominos when it came down.
Mouse traps hurt.

5. Conclusions Fun to build, however troubleshooting, not so fun
Great way to see Engineering concepts in action
10 seconds was the hardest requirement to follow
Mike’s really funny when he gets frustrated.
