For sync performance evaluation in AWGN a lot of additional parameters exists
These parameters have a significant influence on the sync performance
Example: False Acquisition Rate 3dB Es/N0 with different parameters:
Agreement on a common set of parameters is desirable

Correlate at all possible positions in the search area and pick the maximum
Subsequently correlate with starting at the beginning and stop whenever result exceeds a defined threshold

Search area: 2048 samples
Oversampling factor: 8
Max. frequency offset: ±43.4 kHz ( MHz)
Datarate: 100 kbps
Uniformly random placement of packet
Packet consists of: Preamble + SFD + 20 octet random data
Sweep parameter N0
Results shall be plotted over an ES/N0
Length and bitmapping of preamble and SFD are subject to the proposals
Used synchronisation algorithm does not have to be disclosed
