Portrait of Kingdom Believer
I. Has a Transformed Life. Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The aim of biblical Christianity is not self-improvement.

Acts 9:20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. 21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests? 2 Cor. 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 1 Thes. 1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Peculiar: being beyond usual. A believer with a transformed life is unusual.

Pro. 10:19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

Portrait of a Kingdom Believer
Has a Transformed Life. Has a Tamed Tongue.
10
Being quiet is not natural for us.
Jas 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 1 Thes. 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; Being quiet is not natural for us.

Personal Prayer Request
Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psa 141:3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. If you’re walking in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit will temper your tongue.
