WHO: A network to support and coordinate Federal coaches across agencies.
WHAT: This network will be guided by a framework designed to build a shared coaching environment across Government:
Develop and implement a shared, systematic coaching program
Create a web-based repository for best practices, tools, and resources
Provide input to OPM-led guidance and policy around coaching
Define an evaluation protocol
WHY: The focus of a Governmentwide coaching network is to promote employee development and foster continuous learning in a cost-effective way.
This network will bring together coaching leaders within Federal Agencies to discuss strategic challenges and opportunities related to running innovative programs. It will also enhance collaboration and partnership among agencies by facilitating the sharing of best practices, resources, and implementation approaches for coaching.
WHO BENEFITS?: The benefits of a shared coaching program extend far beyond cost-savings to include:
Agencies will be able to better meet their missions, as well as increase employee engagement through more effective leaders
CLOs will be better able to meet the coaching demands within their Department/Agency

Enhance the visibility of leadership programs across the Federal Government
Foster the development of leadership skills in employees
