% of Population Obese When a statistically significant increase in obesity was seen from 2007 to 2011 PRC surveys, Healthy Lifestyles was adopted as the top priority for Healthy Lee. By 2014, a 15% reduction in adult obesity was reported. This exceeds HP Goal here is to stay better than HP2020 at 23% Tobacco Use Lee County has improved and is better than both national and Florida Tobacco use rates but still not achieving HP 2020 goal.

4 Scorecard Cont. Infant Mortality
Lee County has improved and is better than HP 2020 goal or national and state averages for Infant Mortality. Prenatal Care in the First Trimester We lag Florida and the HP 2020 goal for prenatal care. Very little improvement here. Low Birthweight We continue to hover slightly higher than the HP 2020 goal. Need continued effort to improve. Data is for the FL 3-year average. No statewide data available after 2014.
