1 Who wore it? Start by asking “Who would wear the ballet shoes?” (continue same questions for cleats and flip flops) Pose the question- Why do people wear different types of shoes? (for different purposes, different preferences” Explain to the class that just like we may need different shoes for different activities, we also have different needs and preferences in the classroom. We all have different learning styles, needs, and areas of strength. To meet all of our needs, sometimes we will work in groups. Groups will help us all be successful!

Use the computer helper cards if you forget your log in. Ask a Buddy for help finding the program you need. Put your name on a post-it note and stick it to the jobs board. I will help you when I am done with groups. Until then, choose another activity.

turn their ears on and their mouths off while others are sharing. think carefully about the speakers ideas. ask questions when they don’t understand or want to learn more.
