Definition- A physical property is a characteristic of a substance you can observe without changing what it is.
3 facts- you use all your senses to detect physical properties; the state of matter is a physical property because the substance does not change identity when it’s state changes; mass and volume are two other common physical properties
Examples of physical properties- boiling point, melting point, freezing point, luster, solubility, thermal conductivity, malleability, and attraction to a magnet
