5 Contact Information – 1% Please be sure that you use the Contacts tool Enter all required information: Instructor Name Office Location and Number Office/Mobile/Phone Number Course Title and Code Office Hours Be sure to click “Make profile available” Add the contact info to your menu by clicking the “+” sign at the top and choosing “Tool Link” Name your link For Type choose “Contacts” Check “Available to Users” and click “Submit”

Folders themselves are 1 item; everything inside the folder is a separate item. Learning Modules follow this same rule – everything inside the module counts as a separate item. Uploaded audio-visual items and embedded videos and sound files will not count toward your items.

10 Calendar- 2% *excerpt from “STRATEGIC PLAN FOR EFFECTIVELY USING BLACKBOARD LEARN AT CCQ” Simply adding a due date to any assignments, tests, discussion boards, or journals that you create will fulfill this requirement. You can also add items by going to the calendar and clicking the “+” in the top right corner.

11 Announcements - 4% *excerpt from “STRATEGIC PLAN FOR EFFECTIVELY USING BLACKBOARD LEARN AT CCQ” You can create new announcements yourself, or you can simply click “Add a new announcement” for any tests that you make. *Note that assessments, discussion boards, and journals will not create a new announcement.
