14 Stuff can happen between now and Proposal Presentations
A meteor struck my computer while I was typing the intent to present letter and I missed the E2 deadline. Can I still post this morning? My husband and I submitted a letter of intent to present. We are now divorced. Can we both present separately? I posted my intent to present letter but after more careful review of the TGn procedure and documents I do not understand items a,b,c …. I decide to submit whatever I wanted. I’ll ask for foregiveness later. I’ll miss the deadlines if I have to wait for the next TGn session? How can I get these questions resolved quickly? I posted my proposal to the server prior to deadline E3 as required. Can I post a modification, correction, extension to my proposal after deadline E3? We continued to enhance the proposal after the deadline. Are we restricted to present only what we originally posted or can we present our extended results? Bruce Kraemer, Conexant

15 How to handle stuff that happens prior to Proposal Presentations?
Cannot wait for TGn to be in session FRCC disbanded Need a basic set of guidelines Proposal: Prepare this week, answers to what-ifs/ FAQs with 75% approval. Need a mechanism for dealing with other special events Create special committee to convene, ad hoc, at request of TGn chair to deal with special events Members: TGn leadership, .11 WG leadership 75% agreement to responses required Bruce Kraemer, Conexant

16 How to Organize going Forward?
Vice chair and Technical editor TGn vote taken in Singapore (Sept ‘03) approving election of Vice Chair and Technical editor Agreed with WG chair to postpone elections until FRCC work completed and subcommittees disbanded and sufficient work to justify position Proposal: Elect tech ed May ; elect VC when justified Reuse election procedure –tune for TGn Broader issue is how to conduct work most effectively within TGn and with WG chair? What internal organization structure best suits our needs? Assistant editors? Bruce Kraemer, Conexant
