3. Types of Housing Definitions
Multifamily house- is a structure that provides housing for more than one household.
Penthouse- suites located at the top of apartment buildings. (Add to Activity Page)

Efficiency-one main room, a small kitchen area, and a bathroom. (Add to Activity Page)

Single family- Designed to house one family.
Custom Built- Designed by an architech.
Condominium- A type of ownership where the buyer owns individual living space and also has an undivided interest in the common areas and facilities of the multi-unit project.
Cooperative- A type of ownership in which people buy shares of stock in a nonprofit housing corporation. “Buy” apartment by purchasing shares in the corporation. More shares = a bigger apartment.
Townhome- One of a row of houses connected with common side walls.
