What are the 4 amendments that are trial amendments? 2. Of the 3 Federal Branches, which leadership position has a term limit? (U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, President, Supreme Court)

3 First Amendment Freedom of speech Freedom of Press Freedom of Religion
Freedom to assemble Freedom to Petition

4 II, III, & IV Amendments 2nd Amendment 4th Amendment May own firearms
Cannot be searched or arrested with out probable cause May own firearms Short, but controversial 3rd Amendment Cannot be forced to quarter soldiers House, feed, clothe, etc…

5 Trial Amendments 7th Amendment (VII) 5th Amendment (V)
Jury trial in civil cases If amount is more than $1500 5th Amendment (V) Life, liberty & property cannot be taken w/o due process Right to remain silent Cannot be tried twice for a crime 8th Amendment (VIII) 6th Amendment (VI) No excessive bail (fit the crime) No cruel or unusual punishment Speedy, public trial – w/ lawyer Know the charges against you
