YASKAWA has successively commercialized and marketed optimum robots for various uses since 1977, centering on arc welding, one of its areas of expertise, and including spot welding, handling, assembly, painting, transfer of liquid crystal panels, transfer of semiconductor wafers and so on. The following is a brief description of the main models of YASKAWA robots (the specific parameters of the specifications to YASKAWA officially announced the date).

5 23 Unit 6 YASKAWA robot MH5SII Part2 YASKAWA robot product series
The MH5SII is a compact, high-speed 6-axis robot that offers superior performance in a variety of applications such as packaging, material handling, machine tending and dispensing, where versatility is required, as shown in Figure 6-2. Figure 6-2 MH5SII Robot

The MH5SII features an 706 mm reach and offers the widest work envelope in its class. All shafts are low power output and don't need to set the security fence. It can effectively reduce the collision of robot and peripheral devices. The MH5SII is controlled via the DX200 robot controller, which is capable of controlling up to 8 robots from the same controller. Thanks to the compact design of this robot and built-in collision detection features, multiple robots can be easily accommodated in a single production facility.

7 23 Unit 6 YASKAWA robot MPP3S Part2 YASKAWA robot product series
The MPP3S 4-axis high-speed robot with parallel kinematic system combines the speed of the delta design with a high payload capacity and a large working range, as shown in Figure 6-3, and is suitable for high speed and high precision of pallet, pick-up and package. Figure 6-3 MPP3S Robot

It can be installed in close proximity in a small space. As the best in its class, it also enables high-speed handling with a large motion range and improves productivity. Cycle times can be reduced with shorter suction time in addition to high-speed robot movements. The hollow structure of the robot (first in the industry) enables the installation of air valves inside the parallel link arms. The structure shortens the length of piping drastically, which achieves a reduction in the cycle time. MPP3S is also designed to maintain high level of cleanliness for food handling.

9 23 Unit 6 YASKAWA robot MPL300II Part2 YASKAWA robot product series
The versatile and powerful 4-axis MPL300II robot provides high performance in box palletising, case palletising and many further logistical tasks for end-of-line or distribution center automation, as shown in Figure 6-4. Its extensive vertical reach of 3024 mm combined with 3159 mm horizontal reach enables high palletising loads(Payload:300kg). Internally routed airlines and cables from base to end-of-arm tool maximize system reliability. Figure 6-4 MPL300II Robot

10 23 Unit 6 YASKAWA robot EPX2800 Part2 YASKAWA robot product series
Figure 6-5 EPX2800 Robot The flexible, high-performance EPX2800 MOTOMAN painting robot increases finishing quality, consistency and throughput, while dramatically lowering operating costs and decreasing wasted material. The EPX2800 robot is ideal for automotive and other industrial coating applications, as shown in Figure 6-5.

11 23 Unit 6 YASKAWA robot EPX2800 Part2 YASKAWA robot product series
It offers superior performance and creates smooth, consistent finish with outstanding efficiency for painting and dispensing applications. This robot features a hollow wrist design and is ideal for painting contoured parts such as interior/exterior surfaces. It is well suited for mounting spray equipment applicators. Interference between the hose and parts/fixtures is avoided thus ensuring optimum cycle time and robot reach/access.

12 23 Unit 6 YASKAWA robot MYS450F Part2 YASKAWA robot product series
The MYS450F is a 4-axis Scara robot that offers high speed in a compact form that requires minimal installation space, as shown in Figure 6-6. The MYS450 offers superior performance in applications such as assembly, small part handling, case packing and lab automation. The Scara robot easily integrates with existing robot applications to expand current automated processes. It is ideal for large, multi-process systems requiring pick-and-place capability. 13 23 Unit 6 YASKAWA robot SIA10D Part2 YASKAWA robot product series
The SIA10D is a lean and powerful 7-axis single-arm robot ideal for automating operations such as assembly, inspection, machine tending and handling, as shown in Figure 6-7. It's revolutionary with high wrist performance and fully integrated supply cables, enables the SIA10D to work in confined spaces with an amazing freedom of movement. Figure 6-7 SIA10D Robot
