SCAN to Quick Reference
Scanned Files Status
This log will show you if your scan has been sent to your folder. If you do not see “completed” beside your destination, your scan has not been processed.
To send your documents
Place your originals in the document feeder, select a folder destination, then press the green Start key to begin your scan.
Scanning from the glass
Place your original on the glass, select your folder destination, then press start.
A 60 second countdown will appear on the display, giving you the opportunity to place the next page of your document, if there is more than one.
When you are done, press the # key or the green Start key to send your scan.
Scan Settings
Allows for “Black & White” or “Color” scan settings, changing the DPI (Dots per Inch) or you can select the size of your document or choose “Mixed Originals”.
Original Feed Type
Allows you to select if your originals are “2 sided originals”, “Batch Scanning” for documents that are larger than what the document feeder will accommodate or “Mixed 1 and 2 sided” originals.
Send File Type/Name
Allows you to change the file format or apply a name to your files. Scans are defaulted as a PDF which you can change to a TIFF or JPEG file. A defaulted numeric name (today’s date) is given that you can change by selecting “File Name”.
